For our project Sadie and I were both very busy. Finding a time that worked best for us was very complicated considering that I had dance and she worked. When we got together we filmed everything in 1 day but then face timed pretty much every night when we were editing and writing. On the day we filmed we started off at Sadie's house and filmed all the scenes there and then drove to the Celery Fields. After we filmed here we took our actors to eat and then went down to St. Armand's Circle. We originally planned on going to Siesta but then decided this location had better lighting and more places to film. These are some shots we took on the day that we filmed...

This shot can be described as a close up with a high angle.  The purpose of it  is to get a glimpse of the main character and show her facial expression as well as get an idea of where she is and what is happening. To describe this shot it would be a mid shot to show what is about to happen and where the main character is or where they are about to go.   This shot is a long shot and it identifies that the car has just drove off and is leaving. It establishes where the car is going as well as gives the audience the idea that our main character has finally moved away. This is a establishing shot to show where our character is going and what  time of day it is. This long shot and establishing shot displays where our characters are as well as time of day and eventually who is there.  This shot can be the same as the one before. For our story board we tried to convey the main points of our opening scene to the audience. We tried to introduce our characters as much as we could in the short amount of time and what our protagonist is feeling and experiencing.

Our main character for this film is a girl named Beau. In the story, she is moving away from home and reminiscing on all the memories she had with her friends. Beau is described as a very happy person who likes to adventure with friends. To play this role we chose a girl named Sandy Scot who is a friend of both my project partner and I. We chose her because she is very open and social as well as having a personality that brightens up a room. We new that she would be able to adapt well to a camera as well as be able to communicate well with the other characters. She perfectly fit the image that we both had in mind for our protagonist. Our next character was Ollie, Beau's friend. We wanted there to be a chemistry between the two so we had to make sure the two characters at least knew each other.
